Ekyepukulu goes native

Ekyepukulu live is becoming the battle field. Emcee Mad ….. and gospel singer Matovu Junior have exchanged verbal artillery on stage.

Had it not been that Junior Matovu was a man of God, exchange of blows would have occurred. It all started when the controllers at the tower switched off one of the stages organised for comedians.

The comedian have their own stage elected by Vibes Promotions while a giant stage elected by Balaam Marketing Agency is for musicians.

Now, the comedians who felt inferior because of the size of the stage elected by Vibes Promotions and hired by Abtex, stormed the giant stage elected by Balaam Marketing Agency.

At the time of their storming, Junior Matovu, was on staging holding a microphone, a ragamuffin emcee known as Mad Fox, did not betray his stage names. The Fox was really mad!

He went native, calling Junior Matovu, names. He took over from him a microphone and ruled the stage, yet this stage was for musicians not for comedians.

The Mad Fox had its (his) to pour out obscenities and later handed over the microphone to the upcoming musicians, who are as many as grasshoppers in Nakasero market.

Vibes Promotions stage hired by Abitex

Meanwhile, this site has learnt that Abtex who is one of the organisers disappointed sponsors by hiring and electing a substandard stage, simply because he wanted to cost cut and make enjawulo.

It is this reason the sponsors hired Balaamu Barugahara, who took this chance to unleash his new state of art stage.

Balaamu’s stage is the latest; it is the latest; taking a lead in Uganda and probably in East Africa. If you talk of East Africa, include Rwanda, Burundi, eastern Dr.Congo and South Sudan.

It is digital, and does anything you would want to do while musicians are on stage performing. This has put a stop to complaints of sound, sound by artistes.
