BRIDGE EXPOSES MP BRIGHT RWAMIRAMA

Isingiro Bridge collapses and exposes the area Member of Parliament (MP)  Lt. Col. (Rtd) Bright Rwamirama.

The Nyamuyanja Bridge (in picture above) that is in Isingiro North constituency, Isingiro District in South East Ankole in Uganda, collapsed  three (3) years ago. Surprisingly, up to now nothing has ever been done. Residents are worried and their income has been affected.  Yet the area MP is a powerful minister,  state minister for Defence and Veteran Affairs.

The Drone Media has learnt that locals queue every time a motor bike is crossing the remains of the collapsed Nyamuyanja Bridge, with intention to watch the drama that comes with the crossing bike. “It is like a magician is crossing on a wire,” Kagubare Ronald chipped.

One of the vexed locals said, ” Our area MP is interested in fighting wars that are non of our concern.” The Drone Media has also learnt that Hon. Bright Rwamirama has been locked in cold war  with LCV Chairman Jeremiah Birungi Kamurari.

According to one of the residents Moses Sansa, Jeremiah Birungi Kamurari jeopardized Hon Rwamirama’s animals’ business. The minister allegedly used the animal disease as an excuse. Kamurari reportedly said that Foot and Mouth disease had been wiped out of Isingiro District, but it remained in some people’s heads. This statement was taken personal by then minister of Animal Husbandry hence sparking a war between the two district leaders.

In fact, Jeremiah Birungi Kamurari has twice, been framed and arrested but escapes due to his wit and popularity. This, the locals say, is the main cause of their suffering. They accuse Hon. Rwamirama of negligence and laziness.

Other sources say that the army veteran was so active in animal husbandry, but Nyamuyanja which produces loads of matooke is not his touch. The Nyamuyanja bridge has become a local tourist attraction. Besides, it exposes corrupt officials in the district say the CAO and all the responsible officials. The bridge is a death trap; it leads to open death while the leaders are agape!
