Children of rich Ugandans and government officials who study abroad are COVID-19 carriers

By Drone Reporters

President Yoweri Museveni said, “COVID-19 does not have legs; it does not move.” That people carry it to places. Today, The Drone Media investigates how the children of rich Ugandans and government officials carry COVID-19 into the country.

At the beginning of the maiden lockdown in Uganda, Entebbe International Airport became a battle field of sorts. This was because government officials and senior army officers physically flexed over their children, who were mandated to quarantine.

Although the policy was that every person passing through the airport would be required to be tested and may be quarantined, but the children of “big men” would be driven away without following the procedures. This did not stop there.

Remember how the government allowed city tycoon Ben Kavuya to fly in his family members from the United States of America amid the ongoing lockdown over coronavirus.

In a letter to Ethiopian Airlines, Foreign Affairs minister Sam Kuteesa said that the family of the businessman was allowed to fly into the country via a chartered flight on Monday, May 18, 2020.

That came after the Ministry of Health approved the request by the businessman to quarantine the three Members of his family at his Legacy Apartments in Bugolobi, a Kampala suburb.

The Drone Media established that among the 84 ill-fated passengers who traveled  with the first case of Corona Virus in Uganda, were children of Robert Kabushenga.

The Drones saw Kabushenga at Entebbe International Airport, picking his children who were coming back from where they had been studying from. Probably, that was why there was compromise on quarantine of the 83 passengers. You could not let Kabushenga’s children go and quarantine the rest of the passengers.

Today, Uganda is in the second wave of COVID-19; similar issues are rising. The Drone Media has established that children of rich Ugandans and senior government officials, who study abroad especially India return to Uganda with Coronavirus, which they spread through their drinking sprees. This fact relates to the reports that claim that well do families are most attacked.
