Creflo Dollar repents about materialistic gospel
Videos attributed to Creflo Dollar “repenting” about his materialistic preaching are circulating, but to me for long I have been viewing him and some others as confused preachers who failed to differentiate between wealth, celebrity, media hyped personalities and being real anointed servants of God.
We must accept that except God’s Word from the Holy Bible, no one not even those American celebrity preachers can be authority about Tithes!
Many so called big names of American preachers have no moral ground to be role models as far as the true Gospel is concerned.
One day, I was in the US watching one of those on TV but was surprised when he was asked about homosexuality and whether Jesus is the only way to God and the man rotated around such simple clear cut questions just because he wanted to sound politically correct.
In this I see God opening eyes of African preachers to stop copying American celebrity preachers but to go back to the real biblically oriented prayers coupled with reading, following and preaching the Holy Bible as it is.
Salvation is not coming from America but from heaven. TD Jakes, Dollar or Hinn etc are not saviours, only Jesus Christ is – John 14:6, Acts 4:12
Crefro Dollar need to be informed that the tithe is meant to expand the kingdom of God but not to facilitate greedy lavish behaviors, therefore, if his repentance is to be regarded genuine, then, he should sell that too much accumulated wealth & those Jets and give funds to the preaching of the Gospel, reach the unreached, help the orphans, widows and planting Churches!
However, the tithe is a right biblical teaching dictated by the calculation of a tenth of it as stated in the Bible Malachi 3:8-12, that the whole tithe should be brought into the house of God and that those who stubbornly refuse to tithe are robbers and are cursed with a curse. Indeed, people should throw dollars books away and stick to reading the Holy Bible for themselves, even allowing the Holy Spirit to interpret for them with clarity because the Holy Bible is the ever true unchanging word of God.
