Three people Ugandans will never believe in

By Drone Staff Writer

There are three people Ugandans will never believe in. The trio has a common tag on them; they chose to write and publish books to hide their guilt, but Ugandans have refused.

The Kinyankole adage says, ” Wareeba eka erikwenda kufa nyineka ayeyanjurira abaana ati, ‘ baana mwe ndi sho.” This can easily be translated in English like this: ” A family that is destined to destruction begins with the head of it ( the father) telling his children that I am your father.

Honestly, if you are a biological father, do you need to toil, explaining it to your children?

In the same breath, the three people in Uganda; who include Sudhir Ruparelia, Hamis Kigundu and Gordon Wavamunno; have always painfully struggled to explain to Ugandans that their wealth was amassed in a genuine way, but it never sank into the brains of the locals.

Hamis Kiggundu’s home that was engulfed by Lake Victoria

This is why whenever there is an incident, they (Ugandans) rush to throw their hearts out; they post mean comments.  For instance, the recent incident of Lake Victoria engulfing various homes and hotels; gives you a clear picture of what is on the mind of Ugandans.

Julius Jadex O’kot says, “The people built at the home of water. They invaded  water. Now water has come back to rest at its home. Problem is they tell people it is bad to buy and build in wetland, they ignore.  Now  it is the time when they are facing what is called wrath of water. I feel bad that they have lost millions of stuffs in terms of items and money. But this is a lesson to everyone who is thinking of buying and building in a wetland.”

Well, if you are knew in Uganda; it is high time you were informed that the people whose property was engulfed by lake waters; actually invaded the water. They carried soil that they used to destroy the wetlands along the lake shores.

Now that nature has fought for Ugandans; God will physically send His messengers to do something about lost properties including Nakivubo Stadium.
