Hannah Kalema is the new miss Uganda
Hannah Karema was crowned the winner of the Miss Uganda 2023 beauty pageant at the finale held at UMA Multipurpose Hall yesterday nite on Saturday. In a hotly contested Pageant, Kalema Tumukunde emerged the winner for the Miss Uganda 2023.
She beat over twenty finalists who tussled it out in different categories and at the end of the night, Hannah Karema Tumukunde emerged as the queen of them all. Tumukunde was rewarded with a brand new ride among other prizes.
Karema reached the top 5 contestants together with Jerusha Muwanguzi, Jesca Sserwadda, Whitney Martha Ademun, and Prossy Agwang.
Hannah Kalema Tumukunde Contestant No 20 at Miss Uganda 2023. She is a lawyer in the making and represents the Central Region, coming from Nakaseke District. She believes she can.
Hannah Kalema Tumukunde takes over from Oliver Nakakande(Muganda) who congratulated and ushered her into pageantry. She is 20 years of age and hails from Nakaseke. She will represent her country at Miss World 2023 in UAE.
Some of the contestants that were crowned last night at Miss Uganda 2023 include Ademun Whitney Martha 1st Runners up, Agwang Prema Prossy 2nd Runners Up, Celine Jackline Sports queen and Pricillah Nambogga Top Model.
A fan had this to say, ” As a matter of fact, Abenakyo is the last Miss Uganda most of us can remember.A real beauty Queen and now We have got another gorgeous Queen that deserves it all.” she might be a future news anchor , she is beautiful e confident , she truly deserves to be the Queen. Everything looked good with confidence, rocking the runway during the top model.
This was criteria for joining the contest; the entry requirements. The following were attached with entry forms;
1) A copy of either or both your ID, Passport, Driver’s license
2) Two recent A4 colour photographs (one head & shoulders, one full length) dressed appropriately.
3) Your Photograph with no makeup, hat, glasses or anything concealing the face .
4) You must be 18 years and above .
5) No visible tattoos.
6) No criminal record …ETC..!
