Jose Chameleone Promises DP Supporters To Transfer His Fighting Skills From Music To Politics

Singer Jose Chameleone today afternoon officially joined Democratic Party (DP) at Sharing Hall, Nsambya. Dressed in a navy blue fitting suit, the Leone Island president was accompanied by his mother Proscovia Namirimu Mayanja, his young Douglass Mayanja aka Weasel and the youngest brother Pius Mayanja alias Pallaso.

While speaking to the supporters, Chameleone said, ” I am a fighter. Democratic Party (DP) is lucky to have a fighter like me.  Don’t joke with a person who jumped from a three storey building onto the floor.”

Chameleone repeated his statement, confirming he has joined DP to physically fight. This was lifted further high by Eddy Yawe, brother to Bobi Wine who joined him on stage to say that Jose Chameleone and Bobi Wine used to fight in nightclubs, but now they have brought their fights into politics.

Earlier on Jose Chameleone had started this fight; he had defied police which clearly advised him not cause commotion by walking to Sharing Hall, Nsambya. Chameleone came driving but when he arrived at Nsambya Hospital, he jumped off the car and started walking. That is when the police officers swung in action. He used various Boda Bodas and in the scuffle his pants got torn.

At the function it seemed a family affair because Pallaso and Chameleone got the DP cards, their mother Proscovia Namirimu said she has been a DP member. Surprisingly, Weasel refused to join DP.

Jose Chameleone further denied that he had never been an NRM member. He said he sung the song to make money. This statement seemed a rehearsed chorus even his mother had said the same when she was called to greet the DP supporters.

The DP President Norbert Mao told the supporters that Uganda after President Museveni needs  a person with high intelligence, otherwise after six months the wanachi would throw rotten eggs at any mediocre who grabs the power by chance or circumstances.
