Bobi Wine reveals NUP members who have been bought by the government

By Jeremiah Kaniampiha

It has come from the horse’s mouth.  The National Unity Platform (NUP) leader Hon Robert Ssentamu Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine has said some of his members in NUP have been paid money to betray him.

“For the past three years, the regime has sent countless envoys to all people I work with closely. Some have been offered money, others jobs, others trips abroad, others land, etc. Nubian Li, Eddie and other leaders have been some of their key targets. These two flatly rejected these offers and the envoys were very clear- “You will not love the consequences.” Some as we all know accepted the offers and chose to work for the dictator!’ Bobi Wine stated on his official social media handle.

He said, Nubian Li, Eddie Mutwe, Mbogo, Dan Magic, Kampala Lookman, Kafuko Stanley, Bobi Young, Mudde Ntambi, Sheriff Najja and many other friends and comrades are holed up at Kitalya Mini Maximum government prison for close to three months now.

According to the charge sheet, they unlawfully possessed ammunition and government stores an offence they apparently committed on 3rd January.

Bobi Wine says  he has been permitted to see them twice at Kitalya prison. “Yes, their spirits are not fazed, but their bodies are weak and frail. Very many of them have fallen very sick behind the walls of Kitalya,” says Bobi Wine.

Meanwhile the talk about Kawempe North Constituency is gaining momentum; Mohammad Ssegirinya is losing the seat to various forces, including his boss; Bobi Wine. Those who know say, the NUP boss has started the process of transferring his names from voter register so that he can be an eligible voter in Kawempe North Constituency.  If Bobi Wine successfully transfers his names from Kyadondo North Constituency to Kawempe North Constituency; he will drink it the votes in Kawempe like water.
