I was rescuing the journalist from RCC’s aides-Afande Kyobe

The OC Lugala Police Station, Afande Kyobe has given back Pidson Kareire his Identity Card, which was confiscated last week on May 2nd, 2020 while he took photographs of relief food that was not rightly distributed at at Kosovo Community Church.

Afande Kyobe said he sensed danger from the RCC’s aides who were involved in distributing the food. ” The RCC’s aides wanted to harm the journalist so quelled the situation by bringing his identity card so that he could leave the place to come to the police station to pick it up. Unfortunately, the journalist this not realize the trick,” Afande Kyobe explained.

According to sources close to Kosovo Community Church, the RCC Daniel Kabunga’s aides looked for away to give relatives, friends and themselves food and used the church to fulfill their deal.  They claimed that food was given by sponsors, but the said sponsors do not always feed the orphans. Besides, The Drones on the ground counted few members of the church, most of the people who came for food were relatives and friends of the people who were distributing the food.

That was the reason the rough, rude and less knowledgeable Kyamas from Daniel Kabunga’s office, did not want anybody to take photographs.

Well, today Fred Enanga, the Police Spokesman, directed the OC CID, Old Kampala Police Station to retrieve the journalist’s identity card from Lugala Police Station. In turn, the OC CID Old Kampala, told OC CID Lugala Police Station to hand over the identity card to Pidson Kareire, which he forthwith did.

The Drone Media noted a very bad behaviour and attitude, which  the RCC Daniel Kabunga’s aides portrayed. Imagine men not in any uniform for easy identification, asked the journalist to identify himself, which he did, but they continued to confiscate his gadgets. Sadly, they did not identify themselves, the journalist overhead one being called Mutyaba while another was Piso, the rest were ragamuffins.
