Jose Chameleone arrested in South Africa

Hot news we are getting from South Africa is that Jose Chameleone aka Joseph Mayanja has been arrested.

Sources at the venue where he was supposed to perform have told The Drone Media that a lady known as Susan/Susanna is behind his arrest. Susan reportedly hired Jose Chameleone in 2015, but the singing reptile never performed, worse still he did not refund the money.

A bitter Susan is said to have waylaid Chameleone who had gone to perform at a music show organised by a one Ravi of Ravi  Promotions. Fortunately, the Home Affairs Police, a South Africa Police Force responsible for law and order intervened, otherwise the Sangomas (Ugandan witchdoctors) had planned to strangle Chameleone at the venue.

The Sangomas were overhead in the background swearing how Chameleone has been saved by Home Affairs Police, they were baying for his blood. They accused him of theft and thuggery as well as betrayal.

Chameleone was expected to perform tonight Saturday, 18th June, 2022 at Ferdale Recreation Centre, Randburg, Johannesburg in South Africa. The singing reptile was to be hosted by DJ Ravi, assisted by MC Ronniemix and MC Gen Seagal.

Fans had parted with R400 for general happiness (ordinary), R700 for VIP, R5000 for a table, VVIP R10,000 and R12,000 for Kings Table with a bottle of Champaign. The show started at 4pm and was to end at 12am.

Sources say Jose Chameleone owes Susan R80,000 (sh18,747, 936), which he has been holding since 2015 today. Chameleone reportedly diddled the music promoter in South Africa who had booked him for two shows in Madiba’s land in November, 2015.

A close pal to singer revealed that Chameleone could not travel because he had several activations in Kampala.

Besides, he was also supposed to grace the ongoing presidential nominations at Namboole.

It is believed that the singer dodged the South African promoter claiming to have lost his passport days before he could travel.

Chameleone could not fly anywhere until he finished all the NRM activations and even the following months the singer would be at the campaign trail of President Yoweri Museveni.
