Museveni buys new military chopper.
President Yoweri Museveni who doubles as commander in chief has bought a Russian- made state of the art military chopper.
The chopper which is being inspected in Moscow , Russia is expected soon in the country.
Last night (Tuesday) Museveni personally called one of his pilots ordering him to catch any plane at Entebbe International airport to join a team of technical experts inspecting the chopper.
According to our sources in State House, the pilot who flew singer Bebe Cool and Catherine Kusasira, was the lucky pilot who President Museveni gave orders to fly to Moscow.
It is highly expected the president will use this chopper in his ever increasing duties.
When contacted about the price of the chopper last evening for a comment, Don Wanyama the State House spokesman only said, ” its ok.”
Otherwise, the Russian latest choppers are said to be buying from at least 20m US Dollars.
