Leone Island boss blasts noise makers

The big lion in the Leone Island Music Empire has roared. This lion is none other than the East Africa’s finest Jose Chameleons.

Chameleone’s roar comes after noise makers in the city started asking him why he, currently, doesn’t have a manager. The city charter boxes were concerned of his current fashion etc

This is what sparked off his outburst. He asked those who said he now looks like AK47 if they wanted him to look like Bobi Wine’s brother Banjoman.

Leone Island Boss Chameleone asserts, “I didn’t rebrand to impress anyone I simply got bored of the conrows, period!
“Ziza Bafana shoudn’t hustle wiz da media dat doesn’t play UG music…I started when there waz no MTV, Trace but aren’t we big? Let yo music tok”
“Some of u say I cut off ma hair en now I look lyk AK47. Did u want me to look lyk Banjoman?”
“Young artists shud gv respect their fore fathers en those dat a re old in music business. I Chameleone have sacrificed a lot to be who I am.
“Diamond Platnumz en D’banj are not neccessarily big…Ugandan artists are bigger en Ugandans should support their own..”
“A manager is supposed to manage an artist’s lyf bt if I can do all dat myself then i don’t need one for now…

“Chameleone rarely replies his critiques, but when he dies, they find sense. I wish my friend Bebe Could could borrow a leaf. These are legendary words,” Hassani Mwiru wrote on his Facebook page.

Singer Jose Chameleone has been on top charts of Uganda’s music for about 20 years. He is even the top in the whole of East Africa. Actually, he is undisputed top musician in the region.

Every year he hosts a big concert in the country. In fact, this year on December 7, 2018 Jose Chameleone will host o concert dubbed Legend at Cricket Oval, Lugogo.
