Kabaka’s venomous 2018 Christmas message

Kabaka has criticised the new anti corruption body led by State House’s Col Nakalema

Kabaka Ronald Mutebi has said political interference in various government institutions is partly to blame for the rampant corruption in the country.

He criticised the current trend of forming various graft fighting institutions as non-solutions to the fight against theft of public funds.
“We are tired of that song of investigations. Action must be done by responsible actors.

We believe that if institutions were left to act independently, theft of public resources would come to an end,” the Kabaka stated in his Christmas message released by his spokesperson Dick Kasolo yesterday.

While officiating at the Anti-Corruption week on December 10, President Museveni unveiled a new committee headed by Lt Col Edith Nakalema where people will report corrupt government officials.
