Kassiano Wadri used and abandoned Bobi Wine camp.

After helping him win Arua municipality by-election, Hon Kassiano Wadri has revealed the reason why he has kept away from Kyadondo East member of parliament Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine.

Wadri has been accused of forgetting the family of slain Bobi Wine driver Kawuma Yasin who was shot dead in Arua town at the close of the campaign while drumming up support for Wadri who later won the seat.
Wadri said he did not want more violence as is the reason why he has decided to keep away from People Power Movement.

“I no longer need chaos, what happened to me in Arua is enough,” Wadri stated when asked why he did not welcome Bobi Wine and Zaake on their return from medical treatment abroad.

The former Terego county member of parliament added he subscribes to Mugisha Muntu new formation because it believes in diplomacy and building structure rather than using violence as means to remove Museveni from power.

The revelation by Wadri comes barely a month after the family of Kawuma accused him of not visiting the family ever since the brutal assassination of former Bobi Wine driver in Arua.

Since it was chaos and violence that won him the seat, he should have been in position to hold on with his fellows. Short of that clearly portrays how Wadri used Bobi for the sake of drumming him support.

Kassiano Ezati Wadri is a Ugandan social worker and politician. He is the incumbent independent Member of Parliament, representing Arua Municipality in the 10th Parliament, effective 29 August 2018. The seat fell vacant when Ibrahim Abiriga of the National Resistance Movement, was assassinated in June 2018.

The Member of Parliament Arua Municipality Kasiano Wadri says that he remains a strong supporter of people power despite joining the Alliance for National Transformation –ANT party.

Kassiano last week crossed to ANT and was welcomed into the party by the founder and former FDC party President Mugisha Muntu.

Speaking after he was unveiled, Wadri said that since he played a part in the initial stages when ANT was being formed, he could not miss being a registered member of the party.

However, while addressing the media at his home in Arua central division on Wednesday, Kasiano said that he will always remain a supporter of the people power. Wadri says that he has been branded unfair for joining ANT given the fact that people power backed him during the Arua Municipality by-elections.

Wadri was in 2018 elected the MP Arua Municipality in a by-election following the death of Ibrahim Abiringa.
