Police is investigating circumferences under which a man was allegedly killed inside musician Spice Daina’s home on Thursday morning.

Henry Nsamba 33, a resident of Ngobe zone, Bunamwaya in Makindye ssabagabo was killed in the morning hours at Daina s home in Kyamula zone, along Salaama road.

According to neighbors they saw a police pick up 999 arriving to pick a male adult who had been beaten thoroughly and striped naked and it was alleged that he had been trying to rob from the musician .

But another source said the deceased may have been one of Daina s male admirers who was close to her before she found fame.

” That place is well secured with a high perimeter wall, dogs, muscellers inside , cameras and sometimes armed security. There is no way one could climb it, moreover no alarm was made, every thing was done in silence” a source said.

The area LC I chairman , Ssalongo James Kyambadde told this writer that they only got to know of the incident after two days.

He said it is abit surprising that even his defense secretary who stays just near the scene of alleged incident didn’t get to know about it saying that they chose to deal with police directly which was okay and promised to follow up on the matter.

Kampala deputy police spokesman, Luke Owesigire said police was called and informed that someone was caught after jumping over Spice Daina’s perimeter wall.

He said by the time police arrived the suspect later found to be Nsamba was allegedly badly beaten by the mob and died on arrival to Kiruddu hospital. He said momentarily the matter is being registered as mob justice as investigations continue. A resident who did not want to be mentioned said this could be a case of mob justice.
