Mbarara Prison Warder murders self & wardress

Sombre mood engulfed Kakiika, Kyamugoranyi in Mbarara City, where a prison warder murdered self and a wardress last evening.

Preliminary reports indicate that the warder was a disigruntled lover, who harboured love disatisfactions as a result, his cognitive store became empty, which led him to shooting Adong Magodalena.

It was an ugly scene, two motionless bodies lay in a pool of blood, and the killer gun was well placed next to Chemutai’s body. Whereas Chemutai was smartly dressed in prison’s uniform, Adong was casual smart in a new pair of blue trousers, which she had matched with a leather jacket.

However, looking at the motionless bodies of the deceased persons, you cannot stop to think there was a third party in this murder. It seems it was an organized murder.

The territorial Police of Mbarara City says they have started investigating circumstances under which No.19015 Prison Warder Chemutai Aloysious, a male aged about 27 years old attached to Kakiika Prison allegedly shot and killed No.19109 Prison Wardress Adong Magodalena, female aged about 24 years.

Adong Magodalena, police says she was attached to Prison Academy and Training School Luzira and that she had come to visit Chemutai, but he later reportedly shot her and turned the gun on himself last evening on the 13/06/2022 at 1955 (7:55pm).

According to the preliminary investigations the two officers have been in a relationship and that on the 11/06/2022 Prison Wardress Adong Magodalena paid a visit to Warder Chemutai Aloysious at Kakiika prison but last evening on the 13/06/2022 while on duty Warder Chemutai Aloysious shot and killed Adong Magodalena who was together with him while on duty.

The Police has visited the scene recovering the killer weapon SMG Rifle No.UG PRI 49001094-01247 with 24 rounds of ammunition and three cartidages of the discharged bullets. The bodies of the deceased persons have been taken to Mbarara Regional referral hospital mortuary.
