Minister Fred Byamukama led 14 other brothers in a mass wedding in Kakumiro, President President Yoweri Tibuhabulwa Museveni Kaguta has donated 189 million shillings to the family.
The 15 are all sons of the Late Karoli Kamanyire, a historical NRM contact person who supported the NRA revolution.
Byamukama who is also the MP for Bugangaizi west, made his marriage vows with Gladys Kemirembe during Holy mass celebrated by Msgr Rev. Fr. Robert Mugisa, the Vicar general of Hoima Catholic Diocese who represented the Bishop at Kakindo Parish church.
Earlier on in the day in the first mass, MSGR Rev. Fr. Joseph Birungi wedded 14 brothers of Fred Byamukama in a mass wedding and asked them to stick to their marriage vows.
Prime Minister Rt Hon Nabbanja Robinah represented President Yoweri Museveni and delivered the 189 million shillings cash from the president.
Nabbanja urged the couples to stick to the vows and respect one another. The historical wedding was attended by ministers, members of parliament, LCV Chairpersons,local leaders, the clergy among others.
That is how the Transport State Minister cemented his cojugal activities. Hon Fred Byamukama formally tied the knot with his wife Gladys Kemirembe.
The minister, who is also Bugangaizi West MP in a mass at Kakumiro, attracted hundreds of people who were agape as they looked at the couple cat walking.
Byamukama saved time and money, he did it together with his 15 brothers all sons of the Late Karoli Kamanyire, a historical NRM contact person, who supported the NRA revolution.
Gen. Katumba Edward Wamala, the minister for works and transport congratulated the newlyweds.
Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja delivered the presidential donation of 189 million shillings to the family. Msgr Mugisa asked the married couples to desist from having a hardened heart but learn to forgive each other and be tolerant.
