We last reported about the alleged hot romance between Carolone Asio, the Vivo Energy Senior Accounts Manager and Anthony Agalo, the Retails Manager in the same company that irritated workmates.

Now, new details suggest that a section of the concerned citizens and workmates are bothered about suspicious abuse of office soon bordering on alleged corruption by the two suspected Vivo Energy love birds.

The numerous complaints to the Vivo Energy Managing Director about the duo are all in vain so far which include the following among others:

Asio and Agalo are in alleged corrupt Shell Fueling Station deals. Asio has allegedly overtime grown so powerful inside Vivo Energy to the extent that she has a hand in almost every transaction.

Currently, it is alleged that she has taken over the running of all strategic Shell Fueling stations which in real practice is a conflict of interest. It is believed that she is overtly or covertly part of the proprietorship of Bakuli, Bukedea and Kitende Shell Fueling Stations.

Though Kitende Shell is said to sometimes operates in negatives, no one in Shell has raised a finger for obvious reasons. Asio’s move of expelling a one Josephine from the management of Lugogo Shell Fueling Station and replacing her with an Indian on very flimsy pretexts is also suspicious .

In Kumi, Asio’s home town, she is said to be throwing out the current proprietor of Kumi Shell Fueling Station, and fear is that she may be wishing to nurture some personal interests.

Besides, the allocation of card clients; Asio has allegedly frustrated some Shell fuel card clients with some claiming she is in the practice of diverting some big clients to Shell stations for reasons best known to her. Big clients like corporates and ministries’ officials are said to be running to other brands like TOTAL and of late TOTAL has expanded business in all parts of the country to the disadvantage of Shell.

Surprisingly, top management has failed to take any action despite numerous complaints raised. There are complaints that Asio has been in this position for unusually a long time. It is a practice in Vivo Energy, that senior staff do not stay in position for long but Asio seems to have her way.

Big Shell clients seem to be fed up by work methods of some untouchables and if corrective action is not taken, Shell is likely to lose business to TOTAL.
