Operation sweep mafias out of Uganda has kicked off

All the chaos Uganda is in is a result of a mafia group that groomed Bobi Wine with intention of gaining power and enriching themselves.

Like Thomas Malthus, an 18th-century British philosopher and economist, who thought natural factors would help shape the population of the world, the mafias of Uganda thought natural factors would determine the political trends, but they have been proved wrong.

Anyway, the mafias have been having hands in any scandal you have heard in this country; say the Katosi Road Construction scandal; driving permits scandals; immigration issues etc They built a strong network group picking influential figures from  families and communities, which they perceived have influence.

They picked lawyers from Buganda; got a leading daily; had members of the first family and sealed it with rich ministers and heads of government departments.  This group pretended was working for the benefits of National Resistance Movement (NRM), yet they intrinsically aimed the throne. They said let us groom a musician or a showbiz figure to weaken opposition, but it was a miscalculation; Bobi Wine was later diverted by the LGBT.

Well, Face Technologies, which was responsible for issuing of driving permits; is reportedly owned by one of the in-laws of the first family. This in-law was among the mafia group.  Now, in this operation sweep mafias; Face Technologies has been stripped the responsibility of issuing driving permits. A new company from Germany has been endorsed.

A boss at New Vision, who was also part of this mafia group, was forced to retire. The impending cabinet list shows clearly that the rich ministers have been left out and their projects, which were fraudulently pedaled into the system will definitely be frustrated.

Bobi Wine as well as his mentors; the mafias have been crashed. It is a failed mission; probably this is the “New Uganda” they talked about without seeing beyond their imagination.
