LEONE ISLAND FANS HOLD MEETING TO STRATEGISE WAYS OF PROMOTING CHAMELEON’S CONCERT

Leone Island fans, the lovers of Ugandan music legend Jose Chameleone held a town hall meeting in Kampala to strategise ways of promoting his upcoming Gwanga Mujje concert.

They held the meeting at Mambo Restaurant on Park Enkadde Mall in Kampala on 22-January, 2022

The meeting was chaired by Ritah Mpiima,who asked Chameleon’s fans not to let him down because he is still a big music Brand in Uganda

“We always sit down and strategise whenever Chameleone organizes a big concert. This is our culture. We met here to find ways of promoting this event,” she told the Drone Media

Mpiima said they are going to partner with Chameleon and do a series of promotional activities in Kampala and Wakiso

“We shall have drives, move from one place to another to advertise this event. We also urge our online members to share Chameleon’s online poster and his drops,” she said

She dismissed claims that Chameleon beat up a boda boda man to create publicity stunts for his show

“I don’t think it was a publicity stunt. Chameleon no longer needs stunts anymore,” she added

The other group members urged boda boda cyclists to respect other road users because their unprofessional riding style is the reason why there are so many boda boda accidents in Uganda.

They also warned rapper Gravity Omutujju to stop going around TV stations de campaigning Chameleon’s concert

Recently, Gravity told TV reporters on the different TV stations in Kampala that Chameleon’s concert is likely to flop because he is no longer influential as he was 10 years ago.  Many still hold the view thaat Jose Chameleone intentionaly released the video clip as a gimmick to get relevance to showbiz. It is, however a subject of debate.
