Charles Muhangi is dead

Muhangi Charles recently won a war over two downtown malls on former Buganda park.

The battle of those properties almost took his life in the 13 years but hadly after winning he is dead.

Charles Muhangi is a former rally driver and prominent businessman known for his Horizon Coach Buses.

He was allegedly found dead in his bedroom yesterday morning at his residence in Buziga, a Kampala surburb.

Muhangi is the proprietor of Horizon Coaches one of the oldest bus companies in the country.

He died at the time when they were still in legal battles with another city businessman Drake Lubega over ownership of the Qualicell Bus Terminal.

His cause of death remains unclear, though many attach it  to African Chemistry.

A police team was sent on ground to investigate the matter. The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) publicist, Vincent Sekatte confirmed the death of Muhangi.

Burial arrangement

The Funeral programme for late Charles Muhangi: Rally drivers will assemble at A-plus funeral Services in Mmengo near Ndejje University with their rally cars by 3:30pm where the body of the late ARC champ is being worked on.

Thereafter they will drive in procession to All Saint Cathedral, Nakasero for service at 5pm.

Then after service, with help of police lead car Rally drivers will drive in convoy in escort of their fallen fellow driver to his home in Buziga for overnight vigil, then on Saturday the body of the late Charles will be taken to his ancestral home in Bumbire, Igara,  Bushenyi where he will be laid to rest on Sunday 9th December.
