Police arrested more than 80 suspects from Bobi Wines’ Kyarenga concert

The Drone Media has been reliably informed thst 25,000 tickets were sold at Bobi Wine’s Kyarenga Concert.

The source also revealed that about 1000 people could have been added to the number of sold tickets, making 26,000.

Meanwhile The Done Media has been informed thst Police arrested more than 80 suspects from Bobi Wines’ Kyarenga concert which was held at One Love beach in Busabala Saturday.

The show is so far one with the largest number of criminals arrested.

The suspects reportedly detained at Kabalagala and Katwe police divisions were apprehended for engaging in offences such as pickpocketing, drug smoking, attempting rape ,fighting and being public nuisances.

The Kampala Metropolitan police spokesperson, Luke Owoyesigyire, says police is to screen the suspects but applauded revelers for being peaceful and respecting the day’s security plan.

Prior to the concert, police had issued strict security guidelines for those who had plans of attending the event which was estimated to attract more than 50,000 people.

Meanwhile over 43 motorcycles and seven cars were impounded for abusing traffic regulations on Entebbe highway while going or returning from the Kyarenga concert.
