The glamourous wedding happened at Serena Kigo Hotel on Entebbe Road. Gen. Salim Saleh and his wife Joviah Saleh were all in attendance. The event was also graced by mainly close family members, close friends, and a few prominent people.
The Bestman was his cousin brother, Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba. The two brothers blended well for the occassion. This function depicted money; if you stood by the roadside, you would not need to ask whose son was wedding.

Lt. Gen. Kainerugaba thanked his younger brother and main celebrant Mr Alex Mukonzi Akandwanaho who brought him together with his uncle for function after such a long time.

This was at the wedding of Mr Mukonzi who was tying the knot with his long-time friend Manuela Taratibu at Serena Kigo.

“Putting me and my uncle (Gen Salim Saleh) together in the same social function is not simple. The last time was during Esteri’s wedding (Gen Saleh’s daughter)12 years ago, since then we never ever meet on social occasions, it is always work. Konka Alex yakikora (Alex has done it). It is not simple in our family, so thank you very much, Alex,” Gen Kainerugaba said.

Gen Kainerugaba congratulated his younger brother, Alexander, and hailed him for networking with many people from all over the world at his young age.

He noted that it was because of the many attributes drawn from his father. “You can see that he has a lot of Afande Saleh’s attributes in him,” Gen Kainerugaba noted.
