A Ugandan female musician named Nadia Rania has accused a music producer known as Daddy Andre, of sexual harassment.

The social scene is dominated by posts and Rugambo/gossip claiming that upcoming singer Nadia Rania and songwriter /producer, Daddy Andre locked horns over what is termed “sex war” but the human rights defenders, refer to it as sexual harassment.

As it is, this news has dominated the entertainment scene with Nadia claiming that Andre always asks for sex from her.

The widespread allegations has forced singer Karole Kasita to chip in to defend her rumoured ex-lover as she explained that Nadia acted kiddish about the matter.

Karole Kasita noted how Nadia is not the first female artiste to be on the receiving end of sexual advances from men as she listed a number of fellow female artistes who have been victims of such.

The Drone Media has formally received complaint by human rights defenders; the Youth Power Uganda, who claimed that they got a complain from a Young upcoming artist called Nadia Rania, accusing a music producer, Daddy Andre to have sexually harassed her.

“As Youth Power Uganda we condemn such acts and we encourage young girls out there to please come out whenever they face any sexual harassment,” states a formal release from the Youth Power Uganda.

A music fan comments, “She may be making things worse for Andre.

“To come from the far we’ve come to this level, sex has been begged from us many times. So you mean whoever makes sex advances should be exposed? It doesn’t make sense. What she has done isn’t good. It’s her right, however, such things cannot be revealed on TV. Such things should be taken to the Ministry of Family Affairs, not media.

We have passed through the things she talked about. I have personally had many encounters and it’s sad but for my fellow female artistes, if someone ever did that to you, you’d need to consult fellow artistes and friends to see how to go about it because media is not your friend.”
