Security is investigating the Nansana shooting

Security is investigating allegations that the Nansana shooting and robbery could have had the aid of a neighboring country. This follows fresh information that there is a country which is trying to depict Uganda’s security as wanting despite Uganda’s ability to keep and maintain security all over Uganda. A security source told our team that the shooting and stealing in Nansana which left about three people dead and over 200m stolen is not only being investigated as robbery but could have had other security connotations. “ Our friends in that country want to show loopholes in our security and we understand they could be planning more incidents but we are also now on ground” a source said. Its said that this country uses machineries especially from Mozambique and Banyamulenge to carry out deadly missions to avoid linkages and carry no documents. This follows President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s instruction to the Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence (CMI) Brig. Abel Kanduho to lead the investigations into Nansana shooting. A week ago during day time, six armed robbers moving on three motor cycles covered with masks and hoods stormed Cheap Hard Ware in Nansana, shot three workers dead and robbed over shs 200m. Intelligence sources told us that the President instructed CMI boss Kanduho to lead investigations last Wednesday night after he was briefed about the shooting. “This robbery and shooting had some military knowledge. It was not usual stealing so I want you to investigate properly and find out the killers,” President Museveni was quoted saying. “We have received instructions from our boss to begin investigations into the Nansana shooting and we have already reached at the scene,” a reliable source from CMI told sections of the on line media including the Spyreports.ug Another insider in CMI added that they will record some statements from all workers to find out how the robbery was planned internally. “We have already got some clues that some insiders knew about the robbery and we shall record all their statements and make a print of their phones,” intelligence source says.
