Sh40bn hidden in budget for parliament

Drones have gathered that there was connivance between Ministry of Finance officials and the Budget Committee of Parliament to inflate the Parliamentary vote in the National Budget by sh40bn. Now that  the budget was read and approved, parliament has access to the billions for private use and expenditure on personal projects.

Information on theft in the budget has been disclosed by Ministry of Finance officials following a meeting in State House in which the Budget Committee chairperon Hon Isiagi bust a ploy by the same ministry officials who had hidden sh800bn in the concluded budget. Now the officials say since they were busted. Parliament should also vomit the sh40bn.

Sources say that several MPs have been told that they should use every opportunity to amass wealth from public resources because every one in NRM is doing the same including the top officials. That Parliament cannot just help top officials to take public resources through classified expenditures and supplementary budgets, without them gaining any thing. That they too should partake of their share from looting public resources.

Confidants have reportedly been intimated that the positions in parliament did not come on a silver platter. That they were paid  for.  The rate at which properties are being bought in favour of Parliament boss, is also a subject of investigations.

Naguru Land

Businessmen have put on record report that  $2m dispatched to influence a positive report and to defend those who had been allocated plots in Naguru Housing Estate, which is now a subject of controversy and Parliamentary Investigations.

Pineti Coffee deal 
President Museveni has reportedly received a report that $500,000 (Five hundred thousand) was taken from top NRM brass fighting Pinetti Coffee Deal and who have started a campaign to undermine Mzee Yoweri.

Purchase of official Mercedes Benz 

News media is awash with reports that Amongi got a cut of pound streling 270,000 from the irregular purchase of used Mercedes Benz cars for the office of the Speaker and Deputy.

ROKO Contract 
Roko officials have reportedly  paid $500,000 to be shielded against the termination of the contract for building a new Parliamentary Chamber.

Investigations of CAA
A top Civil Aviation Authority official has put on record that they paid $300.000 to undermine the tabling of a parliamentary report recommending the sacking of top management of the aviation body.

Passing of the landlords & tenants Act
City businessmen have reportedly paid $400.000 to retain provisions favorable to land lords in the newly enacted landlord and tenants act.
