Ugandans in diaspora beg president Museveni to allow them return

They once pelted him rotten eggs and now they begging him for mercy

By Our Correspondent

Fate has done them no good. The Ugandans in Diaspora are reportedly pleading for peace. The troubled Ugandans with humbleness, are begging President Yoweri Museveni to allow them return.

Apparently, their once safe havens Britain, Sweden, Netherlands, Italy, Arab world are on fire and they have been begging authorities to let them return to Uganda the country they once branded a failed state with no systems.

Instead of contributing to nation building; they chose stupidity; they called the ruling government all sorts of wicked names, demonized current leaders including head of state Mr. Yoweri Museveni.

Literally, they licked the butts of the foreign people and washed the dirty linen of their mother land-Uganda without any sense of patriotism or nationalism. It is hard to forget their hateful words and posts on Facebook and whatsapp.

Now it’s Karma time and the whites are not willing to help them, that is when they remember they are Ugandans! In fact, they can’t even help themselves from the kicks of Corona virus; a pandemic that has devastated the whole world.

Sympathizers plead on their behalf  that Uganda should intervene and let them into their mother country; claiming it is safer than their would be havens.  They flaunt a common phrase, “forgive and forget.”

Like President Yoweri Museveni said, Corona Virus has changed peoples’ way of thinking or looking at issues. He was referring to the former leader of medics, Dr. Okwaro Obuku, who is remembered for resisting the importation of Cuban medics.

Now, these Ugandans in Diaspora should stay where they are,  because they are not helpful but a problem as of now. They might bring Corona virus to this God loving country. Who knows God could have chosen to punish the friends of Chris Mubirus like He did it in Sodom and Gomorrah.
