UGANDANS IN THE DIASPORA WILL THEY HANDLE?

By Correspondent
Ugandans in the diaspora stormed the streets of New York city showing their dissatisfaction how NRM government is running the country.
The protest comes at a time when over 100 Heads of States/Governments are converging in New York City for the 76th Session of the UN General Assembly during which human rights and other governance issues are central themes for discussion.
How many Ugandans live in the USA? Ugandan Americans are Americans of Ugandan descent. The survey of 2014 counted 20,248 Ugandan Americans in the United States. This number is equivalent to a constituency here in Uganda, therefore cannot present views of all Ugandans.
Besides, not all Ugandans numbered above are involved in politics. As you can see the image; about 200 self-interested Ugandans gathered.  If anything, they are targeting money for gullible western powers, who in-turn aim at smuggling their ill behaviours.
Bobi Wine says, “Encouraged to see comrades in the diaspora turning up in big numbers outside the UN Headquarters to protest the continued oppression of fellow citizens back home by dictator Museveni’s regime. This protest comes at a time when over 100 Heads of State/Government are converging in New York City, USA for the 76th Session of the UN General Assembly during which human rights and other governance issues are central themes for discussion. It behooves all of us, friends, to continue expressing our dissatisfaction with those holding our country captive, using all and any available means possible.”
