Uganda’s Parliament annoy citizens by awarding themselves sh 10bn

Parliament of Uganda during COVID-19

By Angela Nyakuni

Uganda’s parliament has annoyed citizen for awarding themselves sh10 bn to fight COVID-19. Members of public wonder whether MPs are medics to fight COVID-19!

What is hurting is that while the rest of the world is struggling to save it’s people from the pandemic; Covid-19, here the MPs are looting taxpayers.  As in most countries their leaders are offering their monthly salary as a contribution to fight the disease while in Uganda, Members of Parliament are distributing the little the citizens have to fulfill their personal benefits.

Imagine in a country where president came out to ask for help from members of public, the so called members of parliament never bothered for the cause and while their electorates are starving, they went on to share the little which would be used to save the poor.

This is a disgrace, because if we have leaders who are not bothered on their people then these are not leaders but impostors, the best we would expect from them was to give a percentage out of their monthly salary so that their poor people can get something to eat. The worst came after they asked for sh 20 m each as a holiday package on top of their monthly salary.

Ugandans it’s time to know that you elected poor people more than you’re, they are greedy and selfish, the Rt. Hon. Rebecca Kadaga as a senior citizen is also behaving like a slay queen,  she is expected to lead by example but she has proven she is the same, ever since she brought her brother claiming to have discovered Covid-19 vaccine, she proved to the world how greedy and ignorant she is.

The rest of the members in the house are not fit to be called members of Parliament but those are something else whose target is to ruin Ugandans.

Soon you will see another less informed on the floor of parliament tabling a motion to postpone general elections just because they want to keep on ruining the poor, whoever named Uganda the Pearl of Africa will not see gates of the heaven.

Kadaga and your fellow as you sit in the House of ….. deserves hell, poor Ugandans have nothing to eat, their businesses are no more, but you have proceeded to finish even the little that would be used to curb with the situation.
