Godfrey Bangirana summoned by IGP over his misdeeds

The Drone Media has been reliably informed that the IGP Martin Okoth Ochola has summoned all police directors for an impromptu meeting.

Impeccable sources have told us that the must attend meeting is expected to address matters said to be derailing and bogging down performance in the Uganda Police Force (UPF).

It is said that top on the matters of discussion will be  Godfrey Bangirana who is facing the IGG over misuse of office.

Bangirana has become a thorn in the flesh in the UPF. He caused hullabaloo among the public when it was reported that he cost the building of Natete Police station at sh 100 bn yet Mapeera building which is bigger than it cost less.

Can you imagine, Mapeera cost sh 75 bn; it has 13 storeys yet the Natete Police Station which has 3 storeys cost sh 100 bn!

As if that was not bad enough, there was a police helicopter that even failed to fly on the day police attempted to launch it. That helicopter cost sh 10 bn yet a brand new cost sh3.3bn!

Well, two months ago concerned people penned the IGG over Bangirana’s mad expenditures, deals and selective payments of police suppliers.

Bangirana the director of logistics and engineering department is said to have put the police force in rampart debts amounting to billions.

The police director lives large, he is among the tycoons in the city. Bangirana’s selfishness is depicted on the car he drives. He was informed to procure cars for IGP but he also included his.

He is the only director who drives a car similar to the one IGP drives. He is not bothered. He allegedly pays selective suppliers, probably those who share with him the loot.

Possibly tomorrow in the meeting all these problems will be sorted. The public is as eager as an expectant mother to hear the outcome of the meeting.
