Unconfirmed report says he has resigned

If what we have heard is true “Uganda Empya” that was promised by some politicians has clocked in. The unconfirmed report says Matia Kasaija, Minister of Finance has tendered in his resignation to President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.

According to the close sources , it’s alleged that the minister has the pressure of the Karamoja iron sheet scandal and other financial issues in his office which he says that he has been misguided by some other prominent people in the government.

This week this website reported that Matia Kasaija fled the country while AAA  was planning to go to France.

Minister of Finance, Matia Kasaija is currently in Brussels, Belgium, but reports streaming in indicate that the minister fled the country.

Kasaija reportedly said tt is very bad to wish your partner prison because that President  Museveni who orders the security to arrest them and take them to jail he also does some mistakes and is left.

Sources said he fled the country last week and no one knows if he will return for fear of being arrested and taken to jail. Sources say this week Minister Agnes Nandutu and others are expected to be arrested by the operatives led by Brigadier Gen Isoke.

It is said that Minister Nabanjja cried in front of President Museveni when he replied that he had no authority to disrupt the security operations.

This news channel has also learnt that the Speaker of 11th Parliament, Anita Annet Among, was planning to go to France, but the order by the president is that nobody among individuals involved in iron sheets saga should leave the country. This, according to sources, is what made many ministers shed tears.
