Bukedde TV worker collapses and dies

Bukedde TV journalist Nsamba Quraish has died after collapsing at Vision Group Head offices in Industrial area, Kampala

Nsamba was one of the reporters of the daily Agataliiko Nfuufu Luganda news that airs every day at 10:00pm and was also a co-host of the Kadongo Kamu program that airs every Sunday at 3:00pm

According to DJ Suuna Ben of Bukedde FM, said Nsamba reported to work on Tuesday, 24, January, 2023 in good health but collapsed and died in the afternoon

“Nsamba wasn’t sick. He just collapsed and died. My soul rest in eternal Peace,” he posted on his Facebook account.

Vision group journalist and TV presenter Joseph Batte said the late had a sweet soul and believed he was the best singer in the country and we even joked about it yesterday

“He collapsed and died like that. Rest in peace Nsamba Quraish. If none of us believed you were a good singer, I know Allah does and you will be singing for him in heaven,” he posted on his Facebooks account.

NTV and Spark TV Journalist Joash Kasagga has paid tribute to the fallen journalist and has prayed for him to rest in peace

“New Vision and Bukedde partners, no better words at this moment,” she posted on her Facebooks page

Local singer Big Eye of Big Music, Uganda posted on his Facebook account and said Nsamba had no problem and ended his post by stressing  that  he died at one of the health centres in Natete Town in the presence of his collegues from Bukedde TV and his family.

Bukedde mourned the deceased in Luganda: “Kitalo, Kitalo Kitalo ddala, bannange ekya Mukozi munnaffe Quraish Nsamba. Tusaba Allah amusaasire ebyamusobako. Abadde musasi w’Agataliikonfuufu nga ne ku Sunday akola ku Pulogulaamu ya Katonda wiiki n’eya Kadongokamu.
