Bobi Wine’s driver shot dead

Security forces have shot dead Bobi Wine’s driver Kawooya Yasin in Arua.

Information available indicates Kawooya had stubbornly obstructed security; he a Tundra pick up truck, which he incessantly accelerated while a rowdy crowd screaming their lungs out.

A source told this website that as the Tundra made its way into president’s convoy, bullets rained over the rowdy crowd. Unfortunately, the driver of the Tundra was shot.

Bobi Wine and some members of parliament including Hon. Zaake, his team including Selector Davie, Nyanzi Fred, Eddie Mutwe and others were arrested by police.

As we promise, we can now update you that this evening; Tuesday 14, August 2028 the situation in Arua Municipality is still tense.

There is heavy military deployment in the Municipality; the main opposition candidate Hon Wadri is still in custody at Arua Police Station, Hon Gerald Karuhanga is reportedly in unknown confinement, Hon Paul Mwiru is also in an unknown cell.

There is information that Hon Mwiru is being held in custody in a military barracks. Not verified though.

Hon Zaake and Chairman Nyanzi are being treated  in the hospital, but with heavy deployment outside the hospital.

The whereabouts of Hon Mabikke are still hazy but there is information that he is being kept in Gulu.

This evening the electoral commission has finally crept into the constituency but the question is, ” will independent candidate Kassiano Wadri be able to vote tomorrow?”

Kassiano Wadri is one of the main contenders, yet is in jail and his campaign chairman/ manager; are both incarcerated.

A source has assured this website that tlhe opposition lawyers are working around the clock to put an injunction on the already tainted electoral process and are engaging Electoral Commission commissioners like Sebaggala to see a way forward.
