By Mayanja Kiyaga

We have just received shocking news about a fellow, a Ugandan F rank Katumba Sagala  (not related to Eron), who was found dead today in his Flat at Newton Heath.

Frank has been working with Manchester City Council in the Supported Accommodation and Learning Difficulties Department for over 10 years.

He previously worked in the same department with another Ugandan Molly Ondoga who is equally shocked upon learning the news of his passing.

Frank went for annual leave a while ago but neither did he turn up for work at the end of his leave nor did he answer his repeated calls.

This is what prompted his manager to ask Police to do a welfare check on him. When Police broke into his flat , they found him dead and suspect could have been dead for days. He reportedly made the last communication to his friend Richard Walusimbi on 7th March 2021 and they’ve not heard from him since then.

A postmortem will be done in due course to help to ascertain the actual cause of his death. Kitalo nnyo banange.
Let’s intensify to check on each other especially during these hard times of the pandemic. May his soul rest in peace
