Dj Alex Ndawula admitted to Nsambya Hospital

The Drone Media has learnt that former Capital Fm Dj Alex Ndawula is reportedly admitted to St. Francis, Nsambya Hospital.

Our source could not rule out the possibility of COVID-19, but was quick to comment on Alex Ndawula’s lifestyle.  According to this source, the veteran radio personality has been a regular client at Serenity Rehabilitation Centre at Bwebajja on Entebbe Road. Mbu Ndawula was always forced to go to this secret rehabilitation centre due to his excessive consumption of alcohol. Alex Ndawula quit the radio three years ago. He had worked for over 20 years. Hussein Lumumba Amin said this about Dj Alex Ndawula:

I just learnt that Alex Ndawula is quitting the radio industry after more than 20 years. Sad.
I worked with him at Capital radio for a few years where I was Production Manager and technical producer for the Capital Gang political talk show. Whenever Alex was sick and unable to come to work, I would sit in for him especially in the Saturday night programme. Actually most listeners could not tell the difference and thought Alex was in the studio.
But on a serious note, Alex set the highest standards of presentation especially on his daily morning show, that to this day, presenters (including in TV) are yet to attain. Surely there comes a time for everyone to hang up there boots after decades of work and service. But if there was an age limit stopping Alex Ndawula from presenting in the media, I would pass a motion that it be scrapped, and that he even switches to presenting on Television as well.
Let me take this opportunity to say thanks to William Pike, Patrick Quarckoo, Huub Gales, Alex Ndawula, Christine Mawadri, Robert Kabushenga, Patrick Otembo, Patricia Okoed, George Manyali, Bill Tibingana, Joseph Kateera, my former production assistant Akiiki Romeo, and all the other former colleagues still alive, and those who have since passed on (like Allan Cantankerous and Ronnie RIP), for the great experience working together at 91.3 Capital FM.
