THE NAZZIKUNO CHARITY DINNER

In November last year The Nazzikuno Charity Foundation held a successful end of year dinner, which doubled as a fundraising event. It aimed at raising money as well as building materials for the construction of a house for Louvinsiana Mbwaali.

The project has now given Lovisa Mbwali a new home. It has finally started and Lovisa Mbwali is very surprised and so happy to receive a gift of a better accommodation from all those who thought and made it possible for her. She is extremely happy.

I would like to encourage all those who would like to still make donations to this project to keep it coming. We are not going to give this a lady an empty house. So you can give what you can. All necessary household items are more than welcome. Please contact us for more information on how you can get involved in this project, says the foundation coordinator, Flavia Apio.

Mbwaali is one of the impoverished elderly Ugandans, who was identified by Nazzikuno members on their mission to help the disadvantaged and needy people in Uganda. The needy and disabled old Mbwaali, stays in a remote village found in Luka District, Busoga region. She resides in a dilapidated four (4) by two metres house, which also houses two birds (chicken), some goats and she also has three grandchildren in there.

It is the above cause that compelled the Nazzikuno Charity Foundation members to raise money and building materials to construct a simple house to help her sleep in a basic shelter.

However, the fundraising did not cover up the budget for the MbwaaliÔ–s house, but it introduced the cause to the public. Many people learnt of the activities of the Nazzikuno Charity Foundation; they joined and pledged abundantly. Nazzikuno is a free entry organization, where various people give whatever they have to the needy after the needy have been positively identified.
