Pastor Wilson Bugembe denies wedding rumours

Light the World Ministries Pastor Bugembe Wilson has come out to deny engagement rumors that have been making rounds on social media.

These started circulating after a photo of him with an anonymous woman with a ring on her finger appeared online.

The singer/pastor said that the woman is actually married to a white man in the US where he’s been. He added that the picture was taken at the moment when he had told her to flash her wedding ring to the public.

Bugembe also said that he knows how people have been asking him to marry. He however says that he’s not in any rush because the Bible says everything has its own time.

The Pastor however said that his time to marry is soon coming.

Oh I didn’t propose to anyone. The woman in that photo is actually married to a white brother in the US. It was just that I told her to flash the ring as the photo was being taken. I know people have been asking me to marry but I’m not in any rush. Even the Bible says everything has its own time. But I promise it’s soon coming,” the pastor said.

For some years now, the public has been on the neck of the pastor with pleas and demands for him to at least introduce someone.

They feel like he’s aging and therefore with his public personality, he needs a family soon.

Pastor Bugembe however has been leaving people confused especially with his internet closeness with some anonymous women. These however only just turn out to be rumors.

This is not the first time such rumours are heaped onto Pastor Wilson Bugembe. Some years ago, Pastor Justine Nabbosa was subject to love speculation with rumors circulating that she was dating co-pastor and Light the World Church Senior Pastor, Wilson Bugembe.

Well, it was later proved the rumour mongers were wrong about the pastor cum gospel music star, who for long  left many guessing about her love life. Nabosa introduced Jonathan and not Pastor Wilson Bugembe.

Bugembe was born in 1984 Masaka to Mr and Mrs Kirabira. Bugembe was orphaned at an early age that saw him live part of his life on the streets. But he was able to attend school up to university where he studied for only one semester and dropped out. Bugembe started singing professionally when he was 19 years old.
