Hon Allan Ssewanyana has been rearrested

According to UPDF spokes person, Hon. Allan Sewanyana was arrested by a joint security team.
“We have him and he has not been kidnapped as some people are writing, he is safe but will have to answer some more questions
However, a statement Bobi Wine posted on social media, says Hon Allan Ssewanyana was abducted by unknown gunmen.
“I have learnt about the abduction of Hon. Allan Ssewanyana, Member of Parliament for Makindye West. Apparently, he had just moved out of Kigo Prison after being granted bail by a court two days ago. Operatives moving in a drone drove out of the bush, jumped out of the vehicle and pointed guns at him,” states Bobi Wine.
Bobi Wine said the gunmen wrestled Hon Ssewanyana to the ground, bundled him into their vehicle and then sped off to an unknown destination.
“This is the unfortunate state of affairs in our country. The rogue regime operates in such an illegal and arrogant manner! These are the kinds of violations we all must work jointly to put to an end,” Bobi Wine further stated.
“I am grateful to all lawyers who are working hard to get justice for Hon. Ssewanyana and Hon. Ssegirinya. I implore all citizens to continue working to see that they get justice, and above all to put a permanent end to this madness,” the NUP Boss appreciated.
