classes according to The Drone Media

By Drone Reporter

In Uganda classes/grading of persons is determined by lifestyle, money and education combined. If any of these is missing the class changes.

The Drone Media, using observation method, has attempted to classify the Ugandans as follows: Drone Classification one up to eight which is DC1-DC8.

DC1– Include silent tycoons in Uganda. These are local investors; government officials who own big investments like hospitals, shares in telecommunications, hydro power dams, oil companies etc

They have several housing estates, bonded warehouses, factories, agricultural farms and supplying firms. This is where rich ministers and permanent secretaries and accountants belong.

They include partners of those ministers and permanent secretaries; we mean those who do businesses for government officials. They count dollars everyday. Ugandans do not know their wealth; but they are stinking rich. They own buildings in other people’s names.

DC2– This class include foreigners – the so called investors. Any non-Ugandan who is doing any recognized business here falls into this class. Chinese, whites, Indian tycoons and Pakistanis are all here.

DC3– There is a class of arcade owners. These are semi -illiterate but accidentally rich. It also include rich persons with big buildings/apartments.

DC4- This is a recent class. It can also  be called the new corporate class. The Kikuubo business persons. They include the motor spares dealers in Katwe, Ndeeba and elsewhere. Phone dealers and others also belong to this class. Some of these members went to school but the majority are vernacular in everything.

DC5– Intellectuals; corporate lot. They include all those educated persons in Uganda who work in offices. However, it does not identify their incomes. Some own their companies while others are employed by either private sector or government.

DC6– Security forces; army; Police and LDUs. However, some of these members are found in the above classes.

DC7– This class include: the slay queens; slay jajjas; smart wires, social media terrorists; slay farmers and pretenders. The bafere belong to this class. Those who pretend to be what they are not.

DC8– The mechanics;  bobodada riders, Kikomando cooks, flesh peddlers, bar & restaurants attendants, sauna & massage workers. These think alike and automatically belong to this class.

DC9 These do not have any of the characteristics of the 8 classes; they can as well be referred to as classless.

The Drone Media will continue to identify these similarities of Ugandans and group them for easy identification. The Drone Media will soon bring forward names of Ugandans and their classes which they belong to above. #drone-classification
