Jennifer Musisi resigned because her PR was crashed

The KCCA (Kampala City Council Authority) Executive Director Jennifer Musisi tendered in her resignation to the president on Monday, October 15, 2018. She has served in this position for 7 years and the resignation takes effect on 15th December 2018.

When Jennifer Musisi was leaving Uganda Revenue Authority (URA), she prepared herself and built up a Public Relations (PR) machinery that propelled her to this fake euphoria.

The PR machinery/team led by Peter Kaujju was exorbitantly paid to spin anything to the apex. It reached a time even when Jennifer Musisi coughed it would make news. This was the work of the PR machinery, yet there was no tangible work!

Let us face it: Jennifer Musisi gained popularity because of removing illegal structures but she removed structures of ordinary/common man. She failed to touch big buildings like Imperial Royals Hotel that is visibly in the middle of the road and Mapeera’s extension etc

Jennifer Musisi failed to cub corruption in the KCCA. The Leisure Arena that was erected along Kampala Road opposite Watoto Central Church and Fidodido, was exorbitantly priced. About sh 800m was reportedly spent yet sh 60m would finish the work.

Jennifer Musisis’s physical planning department claimed they were decongesting the city but individuals were and are still given space for kiosks. These are relatives or people who pay.

So what did Jennifer Musisi do? And what was her role? Remember she was highly paid. Her salary is sh 47m that excludes allowances and others.

The Drone Media can exclusively reveal that Jennifer Musisi’s resignation was because her PR was crashed. The PR machinery built the concept of KCCA carnival which worked for the “Nankuru” as she was fondly referred to. She enjoyed a lot during the carnival, but also it fetched a lot of money.

Unfortunately, the carnival was now being misused;/ it was going beyond her PR to politics. This could not be allowed by the state machinery. The state canceled the KCCA carnival and she had nothing to linger on but to resign.
