By Drone Media Writer

Swangz avenue majority share hold and company Chief Executive Officer Julius Kyazze has said that he will respond to MC Kats verbal attack on his personality

Speaking to one of the Kampala based radio stations on a weekend entertainment show, Kyazze said in a WhatsApp message that he cannot respond to someone who has a mental problem

Kyazze said he is out of the country on a business trip and said he wishes him the best of luck in his King of the MIC show that happened on 28th-January-2023 at Didi’s world in Kasanga.

Before the show, Kats recorded a Facebook video insulting Kyazze for refusing to allow Swangz Avenue artistes to perform for free at his show

An angry and disappointed Kats said most of the musicians and artistes that perform at his events do it for free because he too uses his journalism career and other bar platforms to promote them

He said all the artistes he works with on his shows work for free in appreciation of his contribution to their careers as a journalist and music promoter

“I don’t want a discount, I want free things. Julius, you’ve never given me anything and I gave you half of your career at Swangz, you found me a star and you used my stardom to get where you are right now,”

He also said that the company did not support the actual people that worked for them in the beginning with the likes of Michael Ross and Vampino but instead invest in female artistes.

The label has four female artistes that include Winnie Nwagi, Vinka, Azawi and Zafaran

Recently, MC Kats also accused Sheeba Karungi for being mean to him and other industry players because she refused to give journalists free entrance tickets for her two shows she held at Kampala Serena hotel in December, 2022.
