cabnet reshuffle keeps ministers sleepless

The impending cabnet reshuffle of 2023 is keeping ministers and those holding expectatuins, sleepless. Close sources to ministers tell The Drone Media that ministers are now suffering from insomnia.  In fact, the source said, ” It is getting in the way of their daily activities and it is making them feel sleepy most times during the day.”

Due to the Karamoja iron sheets saga, the minister involved as well as Ugandans/public are looking forward to seeing a cabnet reshuffle.

They highly expect President Yoweri Museveni to carry out a cabinet reshuffle to rid the administration of corrupt officials. They hold the view that failure to punish caught public officials is making the party as well as government unpopular.

These sentiments come after Minister for Karamoja Affairs Mary Goretti Kitutu was accused of diverting iron sheets meant for disaster victims for the Karamoja Community Empowerment Program. The minister and two others were charged with corruption and conspiracy to commit a felony.  The saga has also involved the Speaker of 11th Parliament, Vice President and the Prime Minister!
