MC King Kong dies

Local comedian King Kong Mc aka Hassan Sempala has died. He died at his home in Kanyanya after complaining of a fever and headache.

A source at Kanyanya where he lived said he went to bed complaining of headache but never woke up.

King Kong has been a popular comedian around town mostly known for dancing in singer Eddy Kenzo’s videos and also as a stand up comedian.

Fellow comedian Hannington Bugingo says, ” The last time I saw you was back stage at the National Theatre of Uganda. You particularly came to thank me for the decency fun factory has maintained in the comedy industry, little did I know it was our last talk. RIP KING KONG MC. The Comedy fraternity and your fans will miss you. Till we meet again.”

Eva Mbabazi of Eva Models, who has been his international manager had this to say, ” Kings Kong Mc it was a great opportunity to have met and worked with you. You became a friend and a brother to me and my family.
Our condolences go to your family relatives and friends. Uganda and the world at large will surely miss young and the talent you. Rest in enternal peace my dear brother. Kitalo nyo nyo nyo.”

Another comedian Herbert Ssegujja aka Museveni, whose skits are always dominated by President Yoweri Museveni’s imitations, says, ” The Comedy Fraternity has Lost a Brother!
Mc KING KONG has gone to be with The Lord.
Kings Kong Mc had malaria.When he went to get his last drip he stayed overnight and he did not make it back home.  My brother may your soul rest in peace.”

One of his fans Don Esau Sr. says, “Kitalo nyo…YouTube is not going to be the same to me. He had funs around the world … West Africa, South America etc..abade ankolera rest in heaven King Kong… Obulamu bumpi.”
