Military Medical professionals to lay down their tools

Well, as it is, military officers in the medical department are crying uncontrollably over what they termed “inconsiderate under payment.”
According to these officers, the ministries concerned neglected them; they actually omitted them from the payment list.
The military medical officers have no kind words and they have since threatened to lay down their tools come November this year.
Below is their excerpts about their grievances:
Time is now for not only the permanent secretaries of both the ministry of public service and Defense Ministry to explain and apologise for not paying the military medical professionals in accordance with the allocated 2018/19 budget.
This is all about the advanced medical and science professionals government employees.
The concerned ministries should also ensure that with immediate effect  the payment and  make it with all the arrears  beginning August 2018 as it has been done for all other government medical professionals in public service, prisons and police lest an industrial action come November 1, 2018.
The act of failure to pay by the undermentioned permanent secretaries is not only undermining  the employees in military fraternity but rather witch hunting to fail the state.
It is prudent therefore that the IGG and the Parliament dig deeper into this issue for it’s a corruption tendency to segregate workers in the same profession by defying a clout of them their entitlement and privileges as per National budget standing orders.
More importantly, the military medical personnel stood with Ugandans at all times of crisis; land slide catastrophes, medical workers industrial action, go where no one else can go & interface with all extremes of weather conditions at the expense wanainchi and at the end of it all this is how we are rewarded!? This is so belittling!.
These permanent secretaries must resign or else we are ready to bring our tools to their offices come 1st.Nov.2018.
