Minister’s Visit to Kanungu Girls project K16. Hon.Dr.Chris Baryomunsi , Minister of ICT and National guidance and MP Kinkizi East on 06th Jan,2023 paid a courtesy visit to a site at Kanyamisinga in Kanungu district.
The Minister’s visit was received by Strategic team of K16 and the area LC 1. After the tour of the structure under construction ( Sylvia Alinaitwe block) ,he was so impressed and in his remarks he highly commended the work being done by K16 Galz together with their well wishers .

The Minister gave assurance that the center will have electricity before end of this month of January 2023 and he assured them of continued support.
He also pledged continued support of the project mpakalast . His wife Fosca is an active member of K16 and therefore he has no way out but to support the initiative.
Dr. Chris Baryomunsi on his visit to K16 girls he applauded them for the work so far done in lifting the lives of Kanungu Girls by equiping them with the skills.
He called upon all the team to keep supporting the government in power if they want good things to reach them because with peace everything is possible.
The leader for K16 Gals appreciated Dr. Chris for always being there for them confirming that he is not only always there for them only but for every one that calls out for his help so long as it’s organised.
They pledged not to disappoint him but to move the project infront. She also assured him of their support in the coming elections and always. She extended her appreciation to the President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for thinking about Kanungu by giving them a minister which is a rare chance, luck and a cry for many districts.
The LC1 Chairperson who was at the function thanked the Minister for all the contributions he is doing for Katete and mostly the K16 galz where many girls within the village are benefiting from.
