Mukamanayamba branch factory closed

The Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) on 4th November, 2020 closed the Mukamanayamba branch in Gulu which was found producing drinks under unhygienic conditions.
According to information received at Drone Media desk, Mukamanayamba proprietor, Sam Byaruhanga, runs his business on blackmail. He reportedly maneuvered arrest of UNBS staff who querried the hygiene of his factory in Kabwohe. The two UNBS officers languish in prison over bribe allegations, yet the conditions of the factory were similar to this one of Gulu.
Now, the products manufactured in Gulu were found labeled as ‘manufactured in Kabwohe’. Yet Gulu facility has no certification permit and products manufactured in Gulu are illegally bearing the Q-mark!
” The Mukamanayamba operations were suspended over unhygienic conditions ,” the UNBS official told The Drone Media.
The drink has been flaunted as a herbal drink and an aphrodisiac; a stimulant, which excites most promiscuous men in Uganda.
Recently, Mukama Nayamba Health Drink Director Samuel Byaruhanga was seen pulling funny stunts in Rubaga Division. The village-bred held customers of Ewooma Pork Joint in a state of terror.
The 32-year old pompous businessman arrived at Ewooma with two UPDF soldiers, who guarded him to the extent that even a fly that mistakenly sat on him could be shot.
Terrorized customers, who had descended on bottles of beers and platters of pork, thought the UPDF soldiers and the pompous Mukama Nayamba Director, had stormed the place to arrest them for defying the presidential COVID-19 guidelines.
In fact, the customers who included Eddie Ssendi, Wycliffe and many of the workers at Bulange and Masengere, had fled the place. They returned after the excited waitresses told them, “Come back. This is the owner of the ‘Mukama Nayamba Drink. He is a big spender.”
Many customers at Ewooma commented, ” This pompous businessman won’t survive business winds because is wasting money hiring soldiers to escort him.”
