Bob Kasango’s body was intercepted and returned to Aplus Funeral Home

Finally the body was intercepted in Namugongo and Aplus  has gone with  two police patrols.

It is going back to the funeral home till a meeting with all families and a final destination declared.

It is regrettable these family members who don’t get involved in someone’s life only to drop by when there is opportunity of sharing property. Dad says Fort Portal, yet Mum says Tororo.

Finally, mourners are leaving church.  The Japs stole the body from church and forcefully took it mbu to bury in Tororo. Andrew Mwenda called Gen. Kainerugaba Muhoozi and he deployed anti terrorism police, who intercepted them like a scene from Black Panther!

 Bob’s mum yesterday said come hell or high water I am burying my son at my home. However, in that mix the Dad also wanted to bury at his home…kwegamba ….in that mix Bobs mum told him Bob is not your son, his father is called Richard……

There was a scuffle at All Saints Cathedral, Kampala as relatives of deceased lawyer Robert Aldridge Kasango, aka Bob, fought over his body.

A scuffle ensued Tuesday afternoon moments after the funeral service when relatives failed to agree on where his remains should be buried.

One of the groups led by Kasango’s mother wanted his remains to be taken to his ancestral home in Tororo District in eastern Uganda where his parents also hail from while the other contending group led by his eldest son wanted the body to be taken to For Portal in western Uganda where Kasango’s wife hails from.

The Tororo group said they were being sidelined by Kasango’s in-laws. They (Tororo group) intercepted the body as it was being taken to the hearse by funeral service providers, loaded it on a waiting truck and sped off with it.
