Nubian Li aka Bukenya introduced

When a bad man love, dem love to de max! A week ago, Nubian Li aka Ali Bukenya was introduced by her long time fiancé Gloria Mutoni.  This weekend the couple walked down the aisle; they officially said “I do!”

Nubian Li tweeted, “When a bad man love, dem love to de max!” So Nubian Li is on cloud 9, in fact, he has just retweeted, “A big thanks to the late Frank Baganizi’s family for having me as their son.”

However, Ugandans are still wondering, “So Nubian Li organized these functions without a source of income considering music shows were stopped! ”

His Principal; Bobi Wine as he is fondly referred to by his fans, has again repeated these praises, “Brother from another mother.” He was on his right hand side, smiling from ear to the ear.

COVID-19 and lockdown must have not affected that camp, especially Nubian Li, by the way. Imagine, from three months prison to a ceremony of this kind. Congratulations comrade the struggle you are in must be fruitful.

Bukenya, better known by his stage name Nubian Li, is one of Bobi Wine’s musical partners. The pair have recorded a number of songs together. When the 39-year-old singer-turned-politician Bobi Wine — real name Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert — sought to end the 35-year tenure of the Ugandan president Yoweri Museveni in January’s elections, Bukenya was by his side.

Bobi Wine’s team was regularly intimidated by the security forces. Arbitrary arrests were not uncommon. Sure enough, at one of their campaign events last December in Kalangala, an island town in central Uganda, security forces apprehended Bukenya and many other members of Wine’s entourage.
