Premier Ndugu Rugunda is led by an FDC LC I Chairman

Uganda’s Prime Minister Ndugu Ruhakana Rugunda has always been friendly to every individual, but it is surprising as to why he is facing opposition at home.

Snoops at The Drone Media have gathered that the amiable Premier is facing political upheavals at home. His Local Council (LC I) Chairman, subscribes to Forum for Democratic Change (FDC).

Ndugu Ruganda comes from Rwere village, Bubare, Kabale. According to snoops in Rwere, this is a second time the residents are embarrassing Ndungu.

Some time ago, the residents organised protests against Ndugu; they reportedly collected about 20 dogs which they dressed in black T-shirts. That was when Ndugu Ruhakana was minister of Internal Affairs.

They were protesting his silence over deaths that affected their own yet he was the minister in charge. However, much of the influence was contributed by religious wars in Kabale.

It is unfortunate that Kabale is still backward, basing politics on religion. They say, ” Buri Mbuzi ahankondo yayo.” Meaning every goat on its pole.  This is another huddle Ndugu faces since he comes from Anglican, the Catholics tend to oppose him.

It is that bad, primitive tendencies are dragging the area. You wonder whether there is God for Catholics or Anglicans alone! Besides, development should be for all and indeed it is for all.

Snoops have also gathered that before Ndugu Rugunda accepted to take over the appointment as a Prime Minister, he first consulted his intimated friend Amama Mbabazi, who was holding the post. Amama Mbabazi reportedly gave him a go ahead and no friction existed therein.

But one would wonder why Ndugu did not support Amama Mbabazi’s Move Forward! Ndugu told his people in Kabale that although he was an intimate friend of Amama Mbabazi, he still subscribed in the National Resistance Movement (NRM). Therefore, it was okay for the people of Kabale to support NRM. The people bought his idea.
