Uganda relaxes COVID-19 lockdown after the 2nd Wave

PARTIAL OPENING OF LOCKDOWN BEGINS August 1, 2021
1-Curfew remains at 7pm to 5:30am.
2-Bodaboda allowed to carry 1passenger but under observance of SOPS.
3-Kikuubu should be opened but street vendors and kiosks should be removed.
4-Arcade and malls should open but corridors cleared and CCTV should be installed.
5-Wedding should continue with 20people.
6-Churches and mosques should remain closed.
7-Out door Sports activities should operate but under strict SOPS.
8-Gaming and Betting,Casinos, performing artists remain closed.
9-Resturants should remain open but under strict SOPS.
10-Saloons are opened under strict SOPS.
11-Sauna and steam bath should remain closed.
12-Schools should remain closed learners should continue with virtual learning.
13-Private vehicles allowed to carry 3 people including driver and allowed to cross districts.
14-Public transport should be opened by monday 2nd August but at 50% capacity.
15-Food market should remain opened but under strict SOPS.
16-Seasonal markets and food markets should remain closed.
17-Airport to remain open but under the control of UPDF.
